Pull it and find out...... Go on....... You know you what to!!!!

Haha I saw that knob on mine, when I first got it and thought it was a release switch for the roof when you have to manually put it down if the electrics fail ? ( mines got the electric hood )

I PULLED IT  !!! SEVERAL TIMES ,  couldn't see what it did, then read the owners manual and found out what it really was for :banana_dance:

#198393 Show Time

Posted by Ian71 on 14 June 2015 - 05:33 PM

Yea sure, you have to be a fully paid up member for insurance reasons (i.e flag blows over and lands on your car) a lot of clubs dont have insurance but i dont think your insurance would pay out. Membership is approx £18-£20 per year, good value, then if there are still tickets available you can book as many shows as you like. What area of the country you from m8 ?

With that screw if you unscrew it as far as you can then get some needle nose pliers on the end you can pull it out if your careful to clean the carbon deposits off (do not drop and lose it though)

You can also adjust the mixture to some degree from the metal pipe onto of the airbox, can't remember if its an allen key or screwdriver you need to do it though

#190487 Front Fog Wiring Help

Posted by allblue on 17 August 2013 - 01:43 PM

Assuming you are referring to the original ford spotlights, your mk4 should already have the fog light wiring, as it was standard spec.
Check for a pair of loose wires by the radiator.

Other than the lamps you will need the suitable brackets too.

someone asked the other day about a connect starter motor so no probs fitting on a cvh then ?

Hi ollie, transit connect starter bolts straight on, just needs the trigger wire connector changing.

You need a diesel starter though, about £70 new on ebay, I can get the link if it helps people.
